1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions.  By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions.  Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand aged 18 years or older. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are not eligible to enter this competition.
3. To enter Participants must answer the following question in 25 words or less “what would you do with training in colour and design?” To answer participants must send by;
a. SMS their full name, address, daytime contact number and answer to 19719711 text message cost 55c inc gst limited to 160 characters per message (entry via SMS is available to Australian residents only)
OR
b. Mail their answer, along with their full name, address and daytime contact number to Inside Out/ISCD promotion, Locked Bag 5030, Alexandria NSW 2015.
4. The competition commences at 00.01 (AEST) on Friday 30th April 2010 and closes at 23.59 (AEST) on Tuesday 3rd August 2010 (“Entry Period”). Multiple entries will be accepted, however, each entry must be sent in as a separate correspondence.
5. This competition is a game of skill.  Chance plays no part in determining the winners.  All entries will be judged individually on their merits based on creativity.  The best entry as determined by the judges, will win a prize.
6. Judging will take place at 2:00pm (AEST) from Thursday 5th August 2010 at News Magazines 180 Bourke Road, Alexandria, NSW 2015.  Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from News Magazines.
7. SMS messages each cost 55c including GST. Entry by SMS is only open to Australian participants with an SMS compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits premium text messaging to the promotional SMS number.  It is recommended that entrants check with their individual service provider in this regard. 8. Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
9. The 3 answers judged to be the best will win a Foundation course in design valued at $5,750 each;
a. The foundation course is a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Design that enables students to learn the concepts of colour and design and their application in the contemporary design world.
10. Total prize pool is valued at $17,250.00
11. Entries must be received by the Salmat Interactive the service provider or Inside Out magazine during the Entry Period.  Entries received after the end date and time will not count towards the competition.
12. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value.
13. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.  The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into.  The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications.  Entries deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way will be excluded from winning a prize.
14. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. The name and photograph of the winner may be used for promotional purposes by the Promoter, unless the winner otherwise notifies the Promoter at the time of accepting the prize.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of entering this competition, accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion.  Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final.  The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
17. The winner agrees to participate in any news media activities surrounding the promotion such as photographic shoots and interviews.
